What sourcing teams actually face

Three things that make Indian manufacturer discovery hard

Directories list anyone who pays

Most directories are advertising platforms — the top results are the firms with the largest marketing budgets, not the ones that actually fit your spec. You spend hours filtering noise to find one or two real candidates.

Listings don't tell you capability

"CNC machining" as a tag could mean anything from a 30-year-old lathe to a 5-axis VMC. "ISO certified" could mean expired. You shortlist three firms, ask the real questions in the first call, and discover two of them are wrong.

Procurement chases status calls

After you place the work order, everything moves to email and WhatsApp. Drawing revisions go out as attachments. Status updates require a phone call. By the time you find out the lot is in inspection, it should have shipped two days ago.

Phase 1 · Live today

Discover and validate

The directory is live — every firm profile shows real capability, real machines, real inspection equipment. No paid placements, no SEO-stuffed nonsense.

Search and filter by capability

Filter by machine type (CNC turning, VMC milling, grinding, EDM, sheet metal, welding), inspection equipment (CMM, surface tester, gauges), certifications (ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF, ISO 13485), and city.

See firm capability in detail

Each firm profile shows machines with make, model, year, and photos. Inspection instruments with measurement range and accuracy. Certifications visible. Facility photos. The information you need before the first call.

Compare across firms

Open multiple firm profiles side by side. Compare machine fleets, inspection capability, certifications, and team size. Pick a shortlist of three to four firms before you spend a single phone call.

Verified capability

Every firm fills in their own machine list, instrument list, and certifications. The platform makes this easy and structured — there's no shortcut to a polished profile other than actually having the equipment.

India-wide coverage

Pune, Coimbatore, Faridabad, Rajkot, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi NCR — the manufacturing centers. The directory grows as firms join; expect Indian breadth across capability and tier.

Contact the firm directly

Use the firm's contact details from their profile. For Phase 1, this is the start of a manufacturer-to-buyer conversation outside the platform. Phase 2 brings the RFQ inside.

Phase 2 · Coming next

From discovery to transaction

Today is discovery. Phase 2 brings the buyer experience inside the platform — structured RFQs, version-controlled drawing exchange, quotations, and side-by-side comparison.

Structured RFQs

Send a single RFQ to multiple firms. Specifications, quantities, target dates, and certification requirements captured in a structured form — no email back-and-forth to clarify scope.

Version-controlled drawing exchange

Upload drawings to your RFQ; they're shared with selected firms with full version control. Revise once, everyone sees the update. No more attaching the wrong rev.

Drawing annotation and comments

Manufacturers can flag tolerance questions, propose process changes, or ask for clarification — all anchored to the drawing region in question. Everything threaded, everything auditable.

Quotation comparison

Side-by-side comparison of quotations across firms — price, lead time, terms, included services. Pick the right partner with the right data in front of you.

Buyer dashboard

All your RFQs, their status across firms, drawings shared, comments outstanding — one view. No more spreadsheet-shadow-tracking your own sourcing process.

Buyer-side analytics

Where you spent in the last quarter, which firms responded fastest, where you have concentration risk. Procurement reporting built in.

Buyer questions

The things procurement teams ask first

How verified are the firms in the directory?

Every firm fills in their own machine list, inspection equipment, certifications, and facility photos. There's no shortcut to a polished profile other than actually having the equipment. We do not currently audit certifications externally; in Phase 2 we plan a verification badge for firms whose certifications and machinery are independently confirmed. Until then, trust the structured profile but verify critical claims in your first call.

Is the directory free for buyers?

Yes. Browsing the firm directory, viewing firm profiles, comparing machines and instruments, and contacting firms via their listed details — all free, no account required. Phase 2 buyer-side features (RFQs, quotations, drawing exchange) will have a freemium tier; pricing will be announced before Phase 2 launches.

Can I send work orders directly today?

Not through the platform yet — work orders are managed internally by each firm in Phase 1. Today, you'd contact the firm via the contact details on their profile and continue the conversation outside Adigrity. Phase 2 brings RFQs and quotations inside the platform.

When does Phase 2 launch?

We're in design now. We're not committing to a specific date because we'd rather ship Phase 2 well than ship it on a slide. Join the waitlist and you'll get the first invite when we open Phase 2 beta — typically weeks before public launch.

How are firms ranked in search results?

By relevance to your search query and filters. We don't sell ranking. Firms can't pay to appear higher. Phase 1 ranks by simple relevance and profile completeness; Phase 2 will add buyer-rating signals once enough buyer activity exists to weight them fairly.

I'm sourcing from outside India. Can I use this?

Yes — the directory is freely accessible globally. Indian manufacturing exports to Germany, the US, Japan, and the Gulf are a primary use case. Phase 2 will support cross-border drawing exchange, quotations in multiple currencies, and Incoterms specification.
